Q.  How do I register for classes?
A.   Registration is very simple. You can call us and provide the information over the phone. You can request a registration form, and e-mail, fax or mail it back to us, or you can stop at our office on the STI campus and fill out the form in person. Keep an eye on this website as we are in the process of developing a way for you to register and pay online!

Q.  How do I pay for classes?
A.  You can pay be check, cash or credit card. After you have registered for a class, just drop by our business office in the Mickelson Center and go to the service window. The folks there will be happy to take your payment and apply it to your account.

Q. I don’t see the class I want on the schedule. What do I do?
A. Call us at 605.367.7619 or 800.247.0789!  We do a great deal of customized training. If we have not scheduled the class you are looking for, give us a call and let us know. If we have the resources and capability, we will do everything we can to put it together for you or your company.

Q. Is financial aid available for BIT classes?
A. It is for some, but not all classes. We work with several private lending institutions to provide help in paying for training. For answers to specific questions, we ask that you drop by the financial aid office in the Mickelson Building, or call them at 605.367.4451.

Q. Will I get college credit for BIT classes.
A. Business and Industry Training is the non-credit division of Southeast Tech. As such, we do not have the authority to grant college credit. Many of our programs are designed as preparation for certification, and all students who complete a BIT class receive a certificate of completion.
