We are taking training to a whole new level! Take a look at the new certifications we are offering. Each program is geared to a specific industry and will help you get that great new job, or help you advance in the job you already have.
Certifications are available in the following areas:
Energy Audit Training
Get certified and earn money in the Green Economy by becoming a Residential Energy Auditor and Weatherization Professional through Building Analyst Certification. As a Certified Building Analyst, you contribute to environmental sustainability and safety by identifying problems and solutions to home energy efficiency, air quality, safety and durability. This 5-day fast track course is designed for professionals with minimal experience in residential contracting or home inspection. Using a “house-as-a-system” approach, you will learn hands-on application of skills in the field while preparing to take the Building Performance Institute’s Building Analyst Exam.

This series of classes will address good design principles along with the technical skills to get the job done. From Publication Design through Adobe Illustrator, a compilation of materials for a portfolio will be developed and assessed.

Final Computer Bookkeeping Project
This series of classes will address accounting practices along with the software skills to effectively manage financial transactions in business or home. The basics are covered in the Accounting/Bookkeeping Concepts class are carried forward into the software applications that will produce an accounting structure that will be assessed.
American Welding Society (AWS) Training
Processes available for certification include (but not limited to) GMAW, GMAW-P, SMAW, SMAW-P, FCAW, GRAW. Additional certifications are availabel for an additional charge.
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Basic Training
The 120-hour EMT-Basic course curriculum deals with all aspects of assessment and emergency care of the sick and injured patient. The student is eligible to take the National Registry Certification on completiton of this course.
Certified Nurse's Assistant
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be eligible to take the nurse's assistant certification exam.
