"Singin' in the Rain"

Reward Your Assistant with an Excellent Day of Education & Pampering Wednesday, April 21, 2010.


Administrative professionals are the backbone of every good organization. Show them how much you appreciate them by sending them to Administrative Professional’s Day. The day will have wonderful speakers on a variety of topics, gourmet food and an extensive vendor’s display. One lucky registrant will receive a makeover as well – talk about an exciting change!

 

Change is inevitable. If there was no change, there would still be carbon paper and mimeograph machines. However, some people have difficulty dealing with change. If you relate change to the rain, in some offices there is a light sprinkle and in others there is a downpour. Join us to learn how to sing in the rain. We can’t wait for it to stop raining so let’s learn how to not only embrace change, but to enjoy the transition. April showers bring May flowers. Rewards await.

Administrative Professional’s Day 2009 has come and gone.  It was a huge success.

One of the highlights of the day was our makeover winner.  The winner was whisked away for a new hair style and color, makeup and a new outfit.  Here is the comment that we received from Becky, our winner. 

“I wanted to thank you and all your team the wonderful make over!! I had a great time and wonderful experience. I can tell you that I am still getting compliments from fellow people at the VA on the new look.”

The keynote speaker, Todd Hunt, was wonderful.  He shared communication barriers in an animated and hilarious way with the audience.  With humor, he addressed challenges in getting information from one person to another.

The breakout sessions covered a variety of topics:  Networking with Others, Top Tech Tips, Going Green and Publisher.  All topics were very well received and informative.

At the end of the day, thanks to the variety of vendors, numerous door prizes were given away along with a hotel night at the Holiday Inn and at the Ramkota.  Absolutely one of the best events to attend!

For the last three years, we have had the honor to host an Administrative Professional’s Day event.  This event recognizes all that the administrative professionals do for a business.  The event holds wonderful educational opportunities, great networking and a lot of pampering.  Every year, the speakers are chosen with care to assure quality information and a fun presentation.  The details for next year’s event are already being considered.  This is a heads up!  Mark your calendars now for this annual event.  The event date is April 21, 2010.  Can’t wait to see you there!
