Education for Bankers
The Business and Industry Training division of Southeast Tech is partnering with the South Dakota Banker’s Association to bring instructor-lead classes back to the banking community in Sioux Falls and the surrounding region. We will be delivering coursework from the American Institute of Banking educational series in order to provide additional training and educational opportunities for those working in the financial services world.


AIB Principals of Banking               $479
This AIB course is the standard introduction to banking. It touches on nearly every aspect of banking, from the fundamentals of negotiable instruments to issues and
developments in the industry. The course addresses bank products and customer service, emerging technology, expanded banking powers and markets, and regulatory controls. Principles of Banking is the foundation course for all AIB training. After successfully completing this course, you will be able to:

This AIB course introduces students to consumer lending, including its importance to the bank and consumers, its process, and the environment in which it operates.
